If I had the choice to not give them one star I would. It's now been over a week since I've had NO water at an apartment complex that I rent from. They haven't even fixed the issue yet. Come on now. This shit is ridiculous. I have work today and I can't even get a shower before then or do work clothes. Plus i wasnt even notified that our water was going to be off once again. People in prison get treated better than this crap. I will NOT be renewing my lease this year. Will most DEFINITELY be moving out! I wouldn't suggest this company AT ALL!

First I will start off with, I have dealt with them before and they were fine. I also know that they are busy. So here we go! Had a tenant that called with backed up sewer line on sat evening. So called some places to see who was available Sunday which no one was. So Monday called several places to see who could be out there the fastest. These guys said they could be out Tuesday afternoon that technician would call on his way in the afternoon but that they couldn’t even give me an estimate on what time he would call or be coming just probably late afternoon. The lady on the phone was very busy I could tell and I understand that she was probably stress. So i said great put me down and call me Tuesday. So Tuesday comes and my tenants reach out to see if I had heard anything around 4pm. So I called talk to the same young lady and she tells me I called you at 12. So I asked did you leave a message? She said no she was busy so she just moved on and sent him to the next location. I was like I was working at shipyard and can’t just answer any call. Also when a number that isn’t saved, doesn’t say Hampton Roads Plumbing or anything pops up on my phone that i just answer it when i am busy working as well. Then they don’t live a message so at this point it doesn’t seem important and mind you I own 3 business so my phone rings all the time. So moving on I then tell her I wish you would have left a message but ok what do you have available for the rest of the day and she then said well probably won’t be able to get you in till Thursday. I was like seriously my tenants have been without plumbing since Saturday night. So as a business owner myself I try and be understanding and don’t like writing bad reviews but there needs to be policies or something in place that require messages to be left that even state if we don’t hear from you in 10 mins we will have to give your appointment to someone else. The facts are they called earlier than they told me but office not technician They left no message They made no attempt to try and get me in asap. They didn’t give me a time they would be there so they could have slid me in first or second thing the next day or something. Long story short my interaction with this company was not great from how short the lady who answered the phone was to the lack of communication or true compassion to try and help. Again on the plus side the other time I dealt with them the technician was nice and got the clog taken care of. If anyone was wondering I ended up using Whorleys Plumber where they gave me a time and showed up on time
called and texted
walked me through a very smooth process.

If you like having your home torn apart for 2 weeks to fix a tiny leak in a single pipe, these are your guys. If you like your plumbers to disappear for hours or days at a time without finishing their work, A Hampton Roads Plumbing & Sewer is the company for you. What a clown show. How is this place still in business? Oh yeah, contracts with apartment complexes. They can shaft the tenants and still get paid by the leasing companies no matter how much the tenants complain. Nice grift, for them. Not so much for the people they put through this nightmare.

They are not professional. Worker lied and said they did work that was not done then lied and told the property to charge me for an issue that wasn’t my fault. They confirmed the property had a bad drainage issue. Nonetheless the property ended up having to get a second opinion from another plumber because leaks continued after they claim they fixed the issue. If the issue was my fault my neighbors on this whole row would not be having issues. I havent even lived at this place a month to be the cause of the issues people have been having with leaks

Rude and poor communication skills. "I own the place" mentality. No communication or time frame given for what time they were arriving, no explanation of what they did to fix the issue before they walked out the door. Pros: They were quick.

I was referred to a Hampton roads plumbing by a friend in the past
the office staff is not so helpful and to get the right person to do the jobs is like pulling a number out of a box but the technician that was sent was this time is probably the most professional and very knowledgeable of his job came in and got right to work on fixing the pipes in the bathroom
rico even clean up his work space unlike that last plumber that came over me and my wife would like to say how much we appreciate all the hard work he put in on our bathroom ps if you want to a great plumber from this company request Rico

Ryan and Chandler were incredibly professional and skilled. Did a complicated toilet plate reinstall on a holiday weekend. So pleasant. So polite. No leaking toilet. And thoroughly cleaned the bathroom floor and toilet and took away all of their trash. If you need a plumber, these are the folks to call!

We had several water pipes burst after the recent freeze. Upon returning home, both bathrooms had burst pipes and the house was flooding. This was a Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend. Rico came out and assisted us getting the water turned off. Rico was very helpful, and supportive, through the entire repair process. If the rating was only on him, they would have 5 stars! The office staff were not as efficient at getting back to me or communicating delays.
